Visita, the Swedish Hospitality Industry organization, classifies Sweden’s hotels through annual inspections. Classified hotels can be awarded 1–5 stars. To receive four stars, a hotel must offer a restaurant with table service, 24-hour staffing, international TV channels, and internet access in the rooms. In addition, the hotel must provide copying services, room service, and laundry service.
Superior
In May 2012, Visita upgraded Djurönäset to four stars with an “S” – meaning Superior. “Superior” is a step between four and five stars and indicates that we meet several of the criteria required for a five-star rating.

Quality Certification
Svenska Möten’s quality certification rates conference hotels using crowns to indicate their level of excellence. Nearly 400 checkpoints, divided between Meetings/Conference and Hotel/Restaurant, are regularly inspected and form the basis for the crown rating (1–5). Djurönäset has been awarded 5 crowns for Hotel/Restaurant and 4 crowns for Meetings/Conference.
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel
The Nordic Swan is the leading official environmental certification in the Nordic countries. A Swan-labeled hotel, restaurant, or conference venue has taken a comprehensive approach to environmental management and meets the strict requirements of the Swan label. The certification helps organizations work toward a more sustainable society.
Djurönäset was among the first to become certified – already back in 2001.

Svenska Möten places high demands on the safety and security of its member venues. Each year, Svenska Möten awards its Safety Diploma to meeting venues that meet these rigorous standards.
